Who is @International Services?

@International Services is a collection of true professionals in media translation, from countries all around the world.   We do not create new original media, rather we support you and your colleagues to increase the impact of the translated versions of your media - to help assure that your message reaches your audience, that the audience's attention span is longer, and that the lessons learned are retained. Headquartered in the USA, we serve Fortune 500 and small startups alike for all multimedia needs such as talking heads, video narration, Flash, voice prompts and subtitling elements.

Our Team

Our CEO, Sue Ellen Reager, speaks 10 languages and has worked for most of the major Hollywood studios, as well as for many of the major European film, television, advertising and audio production companies. Our members include translation directors for movies and television;   voice talents who are the voices of commercials overseas or are the foreign voices of our movie stars;   plus talent directors and audio studios around the world who are all native speaking professionals - like you, but in other languages.  

Our translation team specializes in translation for video and multimedia scripts, training, websites, subtitling, and software. Another sector of our network specializes in voice recording for technology, such as voice prompts and product demos.

The experience we bring is only the groundwork from which we have all learned what works - and what does not work - when translating media. Each and every one of us prefers corporate work to major media. We all see the enormous benefit that corporate work adds to the world economy. Corporate multimedia adds to global sales, to training, and to communications between leaders and branches. The combination of audio, visual and message makes our world go 'round.

Our Goal

Multimedia translation is what we do, so the furnace is kept well stoked, and we move projects in an organized manner through the pipeline.   We think that you will enjoy working with our professionals. Most traditional translation companies think that video translation and written translation are identical, and believe that "adapting a video script to timing" means shortening a written translation. We try our best to bring to your project the knowledge and understanding that the "spoken word" is different from the "written word" in every language.   And to us, "adaptation to timing" also means adjusting the words so that they coincide with the actions on the screen.   As an added bonus, we help you with your subtitling needs, and even provide lip sync dialog replacement in 70 countries - which is quite a feat, we promise!
